CAMP AQ
August 3 - 6, 2026
Every August since 2022, Neighbors for Clean Air and Multnomah County Health Department have hosted Camp AQ (Air Quality), a youth advocacy summer camp for high-school aged students all over the Portland Metro region. Students learn about the intersections of air quality & environmental justice. The 4 day long camp teaches students through community workshops, science projects, urban planning models, field trips, collaborative art projects, and a career fair.
Camp AQ is free to attend and students receive a $100 educational stipend to support their learning; additionally, lunch is provided each day.
We host camp at the PCC Opportunity Center (4299 NE Killingsworth St, Portland, OR 97218). Camp runs Monday through Thursday, 9am-4pm.
